What should my A1c be?

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) recommends that A1c goals for people living with diabetes be individualized. However, the ADA also recommends that MOST people with diabetes work towards keeping their A1c to less than 7.0%. This level has been shown to help slow or prevent complications associated with elevated blood sugar.

At 9am, we understand that our patients all have different bodies and are all in different steps toward learning what diabetes management styles work best for them. Therefore, we recommend speaking with your doctor or Care Specialist to determine your current goal.

If you have further questions or are interested in scheduling a call with your personal Diabetes Care Specialist, please reach out to us directly via email support@join9am.com, phone (202) 932-9958, or the messenger in your https://join9am.com/ account.
